Norton theorem is used to solve electrical network analysis of circuits. The solved problems and circuits for Norton theorem is discussed in many articles. Here we are going to give brief introduction about the Norton theorem. Norton theorem states that any complex circuit can be converted into simplified Nortons equivalent circuit. This equivalent circuit is mainly consist of a current source and a parallel resistance with it RN.

RN can be finding by short circuit the voltage source in the circuit and open circuit the current source present in the circuit. By seeing from the load resistance side it is possible to measure the equivalent resistance.
